This Portfolio

Next.js 16 and React 19In active development2026

This portfolio has two modes, Professional and Casual. The toggle swaps both content and palette with no flash, and the mode is addressable from the URL.

It is built with Next.js 16 and React 19, with a typed icon registry, guard tests for typography and assets, a dev-only résumé builder, and The Mansion ported to TypeScript with golden transcripts.

The toggle

One toggle swaps the whole site between Professional and Casual: the content and the palette change together, with no flash.

Mode is URL-addressable too, so a link can open the site straight into either mode.

The guards

Guard tests cover typography and assets, so typography rules and image paths are checked by the suite rather than by eye. Icons go through a typed registry, so an icon name is checked by the compiler too.

The lab inside the lab

The portfolio carries experiments of its own. A dev-only résumé builder lives in the repo but never ships to production, and The Mansion, the first text adventure I ever shipped, is ported to TypeScript and pinned by golden transcripts.
