Hearth

Hearth is a recipe app for Android, built with Samsung Galaxy devices in mind, in Kotlin with Jetpack Compose and Room.

Recipes come in four ways: typed in, imported from a recipe link (structured recipe data first, with Claude as the fallback), scanned from a cookbook page or card with Claude vision, or shared in as a link from another app. From there it scales to any servings, builds smart shopping lists, and marks each recipe as an Idea, Tried, or Favorite, so ideas stay separate from dishes actually made.

The user brings their own Anthropic API key, stored only on the device. The palette is dark-first copper, taupe, and sage, the same DNA as this site.
